Deer & Rabbit Help Guide

  • To gain maximum effect from repellents (liquid fence), rotate product regularly to prevent a tolerance from forming. Remember that repellants will need to be reapplied after every rainfall.

  • Deer tend to avoid the 3Fs: fuzzy plants, fragrant plants, and fine plants.

  • Rabbits frequent areas that provide sufficient cover to mask their presence; to discourage them remove piles of: junk, debris, and dense vegetation.

  • The best defense against rabbits and deer is a fence.

  • Cut up bars of fragrant soap (i.e. Irish spring / ivory) and scatter around the garden to discourage grazing.
